I ask myself.

Am I doing the right thing, making the choices I make. I try to keep everyone happy & putting everyone’s happiness before mine, sometimes I feel like it’s my turn to be happy though.

Easy… definitely my dedication to basketball. Since the end of my Senior year, I wanted to get better. Not just because I wanted to be better than other people, but to show myself I could play better. I worked that whole Summer toward my goal, and now we’re winning IM’s in college, yeeeh! :)Support the friends!

My grades slipped a lot sophomore year. It took not only pressure from my parents but also my own initiative and my will power to learn to focus and buckle down to get better grades. Now, my GPA is higher and I’m more confident in myself about applying for college next fall! #willpowerisrealpower

First time I auditioned for a dance team, I didn’t make it. I thought that not making the team would have me quit dancing for good. But then, my friends persuaded me to keep dancing so I took classes and trained to get better. The next time I auditioned for the team, I made it and without it, I wouldn’t be where I am now, on Future Shock SD! #willpowerisrealpower

I started dancing to prove to some people in my school that I wasn’t just a talentless fuck. People used to think I was worthless and stupid because I never had the confidence to do anything in public. Heck, I was scared to even talk to classmates. Dancing has brought out the person I am today. Outgoing. Confident. Definitely not shy anymore. Now, I made it into a dance crew that respects my focus and my drive to dance. Im their youngest member, by far. Im proud to have come from being an independent, shy, isolated, and misunderstood little girl to being confident, outgoing, and open to others. Even though I never really had my parents’ full support.
Keep it going! Add your personal achievements and spread the movement!

I made the choice to join a dance time after wishing I could be on one for the longest… Joining meant waking up at 7AM in the summer to get dropped off for 2PM practices since I lived far away. I worked hard and made captain even though I only slept 3 hours a night. Afterwards I had to wake up at 5AM twice a week to bike an hour to school to make morning practices and gave up my afternoons to perfect the pieces and set a good example for the rest of the team. It was the most stressful but a very rewarding experience. I couldn’t have pulled through without my willpower, and without that I couldn’t have pushed myself to go so far for the team.
